Collectible Card Games and Living Card Games

Here you will find the best of the collectible card game (CCG) in the form of boosters or packs.
Collectible card games are games made up of a wide variety of cards that are used to customize the players' decks.
The cards are sold in boosters or packs. Each card has an effect on the game and usually contains a drawing and text describing its effect.
The best known representative of collectible card games is Magic: The Gathering, created in 1993 by Richard Garfield.
It is also referred to as playing card games and collectible games, but the term is less and less used.
Along with the term collectible card game, the term Living Card Game (LCG) has been coined to refer to another type of card game. However, LCG is not a synonym in the strict sense and refers to games that focus on building a deck that evolves over time, but without the notion of card scarcity that is characteristic of CCGs. Players can then buy each new expansion in its entirety, generally in the form of a pack or a box identical for all players.
In terms of universe, CCGs or LCGs often take place in fictional fantasy or science-fiction worlds, as in Magic, Pathfinder or Warhammer. But some games are based on already known universes. Examples are Pokémon, Yu-Gi-OH!, Marvel Champions, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones.
