Playful reviews about this game
In Takayama, you take turns building your mountains. The smallest player in size starts by placing the base of the mountain (wooden plate) then he randomly turns over a first token, takes the wooden piece with the corresponding symbol and places it on the wooden base. The player may place it in any position he likes, but always on the edge!
Then he turns over a second token and places the corresponding piece of wood on top of the previous one again to build his mountain and so on. The player can decide at any time to continue or to stop his construction, sometimes it is better to stop because if a piece falls it is lost for you!
If he is satisfied with his mountain, he stops, measures the height and writes down the result. The next player can start, the first player who reaches a total of 100cm wins the game.
There are several variants for this game: the team game, play by setting a maximum number of turns at the beginning of the game, play the stopwatch for each player ...
