New heroes are emerging to face a new threat...

The Night's Watch recognizes you as a born leader. You supervise a small group of your brothers in arms in their daily duties. You must ensure that the Wall's defences are maintained. By ensuring the continuous supply of resources through the outposts, fortresses and roads of the Don, you allow the Night's Watch to survive. By assigning your brothers as guards on the Wall, you will prevent savages from entering the Gift.

But be careful! There are more and more wild animals. They gather, always in search of a breach in the Wall. Will your guards be able to hold them off? Will they resist the giants in the heart of his hordes? Do your job properly. Protect the Don. Become the new Lord Commander.

The vast northern forests are home to many mysteries and the wildlings hide many surprises. Mammoths are heading towards the Wall, led by the wild hordes. These mastodons are as fierce as they are tenacious. When they charge, chaos and panic invade their enemies' ranks!

New heroes have reached the north. Will you be able to ask for their help to achieve your goal and become the next Lord Commander of the Night's Watch?

This extension allows you to include up to two additional players. Your victory will be even more delicious!

Comme toutes les extensions Colons de catane, le matériel est d'excellente qualité mais beaucoup trop cher pour son contenu : 6 figurines en plastique et quelques tuiles/ pions / boutes de terrain en carton pour 45€ c'est abusif mais pas trop le choix pour jouer à 6... L'intégralité du matériel de cette extensions rentre facilement dans les espaces libres de la boîte de base.

Du reste les mammouths sont un peu petits à mon goût (plus petits que les géants) mais j'imagine que c'était la seule façon de les faire tenir dans les clairières. Leur gameplay est un peu décevant également : ils se comportent exactement comme un sauvageon classique mais ne passent pas le mur. Bref ils ne font peur à personne en jeu.

Bref une extension hors-de-prix (le prix de certains gros jeux), utile uniquement pour jouer à 5+ mais tout à fait inutile dans vos parties à 4- car les nouveaux éléments (les mammouths) ne sont pas intégrables à 4 et vous priveraient de toute façon des autres types de sauvageons beaucoup plus intéressants.
