Comanchería is the second game in Joel Toppen's "First Nations" series.
Playful reviews about this game
Like its predecessor, Navajo Wars, Comanchería is a solitaire game in which the player plays from the Native American tribe's point of view.
In Comanchería, the player takes command of the Comanche nation. The player must drive hostile tribes from the southern plains, establish dominance over the region, set up trade networks with both friendly tribes and colonial powers, and finally defend all of this against relentless military and cultural attack.
While many mechanics will feel similar to Navajo Wars, Comanchería is a very different game. Comanchería promises to deliver all the tough decisions and drama that Navajo Wars players have come to expect, but with a faster playing time and more streamlined victory objectives.

I really love this game.
Treat this review more like a teaser-review.
You start small.
You get to know every member of your Rancheria. You feel for them.
Destiny calls you and you start to grow, fight, expand...
"Passage of time" (PoT) is always hanging above your neck. Choking you. Sometimes you don't want it to arrive, but sometimes you call the Great Spirit to push PoT earlier.
Culture and Military points are your life but they can fall to zero (0) after every Step.
Bison disappears quickly. Enemy War Column sudden attack is one card away.
Stress is pilling up after every counter flip.
What to do?! Is it a right move?! Is it a right moment.
What else do you need?!
