All the latest board game news in one magazine!

The brains were racing at Plato this month. It wasn't easy, for starters, to decide which game to put on the cover of our issue 135! Three potential candidates were identified by the team: Lueur the seductive, with its artistic direction and graphic treatment, Merv the expected, on the team's radar since the fall, and Bonfire the destined, attractive with its announced treatment of its theme.

Each editor has thought the file accompanying the column to let you discover the side effects of the creation of the title, namely a focus on the Breton publisher Bombyx, an interview with the transalpine author and an article on how the theme was thought to fit the mechanics. But at this stage, you already know which game has been finally selected. Let's bet that it will mark the year 2021, since its VO has already been nominated for the Swiss Gamers Award 2020.

In the course of our reflections, we also wanted to focus for two issues on the subject of female representation in the gaming world. Some societal topics have an important place in the fast dematerialized exchanges exacerbated by the health context, on forums or social networks, and it seemed necessary to us to give them substance and to support them as well as possible. At the end of this period where everything is slowed down, can the recovery rhyme with action?
