Les 12 jeux sont des jeux qui révèlent leur potentiel partie après partie et ne se maitrisent ( pour peu qu'on puisse dire qu'on les maitrise ) qu'après de nombreuses parties. Ce sont généralement les jeux difficiles d'accès dont la lecture des règles et leur compréhension m'a pris au moins d'une heure. Dans cette catégorie Scythe fait figure d'exception car les règles semblent compliquées et quand on commence la première partie tout est évident et simple ! Mais aussi des jeux qui, comme Dominion et toutes des extensions, ont des règles simple et un accès facile mais n'en présentent pas moins une profondeur exceptionnelle.
