Introducing King of Siam: Players try to gain the most influence in the different regions of the kingdom in order to win.
They will have to be very careful, because if the Kingdom of Siam becomes an English colony, the victory conditions will change!
With four players, the game is played in teams.
During your turn, you must either pass or play one of the eight cards dealt at the start of the game (all players have the same eight cards and will not receive any more for the rest of the game). Then, you must take one of the supporters on the board (they represent the influence you have just gained). The round ends when all players have taken their turns (so you can pass initially and play on your next turn). Next, you determine which faction is most represented in Province 1 (since the tiles are placed randomly and the factions are partially randomized, no two games are ever the same) and place a control marker of your chosen color in the region.
If two (or three) factions are tied, or if there are no supporters left in the region, it is conquered by the English.
The remaining supporters in that province are then removed from the game, and a new round begins: You do not take back your played cards, and play continues until all provinces have received a marker. If at any point four colonies are controlled by the British, the game ends. Otherwise, the players who have conquered the most regions are considered to have conquered Siam! (In case of a tie, the last to have conquered a region wins!) The player with the most supporters of that faction then wins.
If Siam has become a British colony, the winner
is the player with the most complete sets of supporters.
A set consists of one blue, one red, and one yellow supporter.
Second-hand game - one corner of the box is slightly dented.
