Every year during the July festivities, the
Festival International des Jeux de Parthenay in France rewards the best published games of the year in several categories with the
FLIP Publishers Awards.
For its 35th edition, the FLIP has introduced a
new category, Eco-ludic, which aims to highlight board games published in a reasoned approach, favoring the short circuit and having a low carbon footprint.
The selected games are rewarded on the basis of criteria such as
originality, quality of the edition, playfulness and mechanics:
•
Dragomino won the
Children's Category Trophy, which rewards a game that is appreciated by the youngest players and their parents during shared games.
•
Skyjo won the
Entertainment category Trophy, awarded to a family game accessible to the greatest number of people.
•
Lueur was awarded the Trophy in the
Reflection category, which recognizes a game with more complex mechanics that requires a sense of reasoning.
• And
Turbulences is the first winner of the Trophy in the
Eco-ludic category, awarded to a game published in an environmentally friendly way.
Congratulations to the authors, illustrators and editors who participated in the creation of these games!
