The nominees have been annouced!

The Spiel des Jahres is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious awards in the boardgaming world.

For more than 40 years, it has been awarded every year, to the best board games, by a jury that evaluates the games according to several criteria: originality, rules, playability, design, mechanics, etc...

So of course, when the nominees are announced, we are all excited! And precisely, the nominees have been presented very recently. Here is the list:

Festival Ludique International de Parthenay

The FLIP Eco-Ludic Trophy

The Festival Ludique International de Parthenay, which will be held this year from July 7 to 18, rewards at each of its editions "the best games of the summer" to be discovered by a maximum number of festival-goers.

Among these awards, there are the FLIP "Publishers" Trophies which reward the best "published" games of the summer in 3 categories: Children's games, Entertainment games and Thinking games.
For the 35th edition of the Festival, the FLIP team wanted to add a new category for this award: Eco-Games!

Animated by a jury of boardgame and ecology professionals, this new category aims at highlighting board games published in a reasoned approach, favoring the short circuit and a low carbon footprint.

The nominees of this brand new category "ECO-LUDIQUE" for the FLIP 2021 Trophies have been revealed! 5 games are in the running: Feelings, La Marche du Crabe, Ratayo!, Turbulences and Velonimo, only available in french for the moment.

Congratulations to the FLIP team for this great initiative and good luck to the nominees!
