Rivoli 1797 was the conclusion of a general maneuver in a central position brilliantly led by Bonaparte. The French, although outnumbered, won a decisive victory, at the price of the most fierce fighting of the entire Italian campaign (1st edition: VaeVictis n°18).

Zurich 1799: at the head of the last French army still able to lead an offensive campaign, Masséna took advantage of a favorable opportunity and saved the Republic. The maneuver of Zurich, and its results, are among the most glorious pages written by the soldiers of the Revolution (1st edition: VaeVictis n°29).

Montebello 1800 is an affair of the avant-garde. The French columns came up against the Austrian outposts and the battle grew in size. The two leaders, wanting to seize the opportunity to shine, will engage most of their reserves (1st edition: Canons en Carton).

Marengo 1800: intense and long lost for the French, the battle turns into a dazzling victory when, once again concentrated, they can suddenly strike at the Austrians who are too sure of their triumph. Desaix and Kellermann thus bring a new title of glory to the young 1st Consul Bonaparte (1st edition: VaeVictis n°35).
Premières Gloires places players at the head of small or medium-sized armies that must fight on uneven terrain or cut by numerous obstacles. Battles are spread over one or more days. With your back to the wall, will you be able to do as well as Bonaparte, Lannes, or Masséna and find the solutions to defeat the armies of their opponents?
