Smugglers is an expansion for Dune: War for Arrakis that introduces a ragtag organization into the game. 

The Smugglers that make a living on Arrakis are ostensibly a neutral faction. However. the great powers at play are able to use them to their advantage in different ways, employing their 'Thopters. Carryalls, Harvesters, and even their fighters. 

As the Smugglers' allegiance shifts, so too do the dynamics of the game. While the war between the Harkonnens and Atreides rages across Arrakis, it gives ample opportunity for daring entrepreneurs to carve out a profit harvesting spice. For these spice smugglers, remaining neutral is no easy feat. 

To avoid Harkonnen prosecution, hefty spice bribes must be paid to their coffers. However, a time may soon come when allying with Muad'Dib may be the only acceptable course of action. It might even be a profitable one.
