Ah, money. There's nothing like the sound of coins clinking in your hands. You like it much better than the sound of coins clinking in someone else's hands, or the sound of coins sitting there in a pile that no one can reach without standing up. Standing up is a thing of the past now. Life has been good to you. Just ten years ago you were working your own fields with a simple straw hat. Today, your kingdom stretches from coast to coast, and your straw hat is the biggest the world has ever known. You also have the world's smallest dog, and a life-size statue of yourself in baklava. Of course, money can't buy happiness, but it can buy envy, anger, and also that kind of empty feeling. You still have problems - troublesome neighbours that you have to conquer. But this time you're going to conquer them in style.
In Dominion, each player starts with a small deck of identical cards. In the centre of the table is a selection of other cards that players can 'buy' as they can afford them. Through their selection of cards to buy, and the way they play their hands, players build their deck on the fly, striving to find the most efficient path to valuable victory points at the end of the game.
This is the fifth title in the Dominion series. Dominion - Prosperity features 25 new Kingdom cards and 5-value Treasure cards that allow you to buy Colonies, new Victory cards that earn 10 points at the end of the game. You will also discover Kingdom cards that will allow you to fill your hand with Treasures. So you can multiply your purchases and your victory points!
