Redvers' Reverse is a solitaire wargame portraying the Battle of Colenso, fought on the 15th of December, 1899 during the Second Anglo-Boer War.

16,700 British troops attempted to cross the Teluga River, defended by 4,500 Boers hidden in emplacements and on high ground, in an attempt to relieve the siege of Ladysmith.

The game puts the player in the same position as the British commander Redvers Buller, with the same constraints of time, poor knowledge of Boer deployment, unknown locations of drifts and the added problem of subordinates not acting as instructed. An historical scenario is presented but variant scenarios may be created allowing the player to set unique situations for each game.
