Space Infantry: Resurgence is the third part of the series and allows you to control a team of elite soldiers in a sci-fi universe.

This third installment in the Space Infantry series takes the core concept of an elite squad of veteran sci-fi soldiers fighting through random obstacles to reach an objective, using only the tools they bring with them and what they can scrounge from the environment to a new level. Main additions are co-op play, dice, and "node" cards.

The chit-based random number generation system has been replaced with physical dice. Static maps have been replaced with randomized locations on a set layout. Nodes towards a mission goal still exist but are no longer printed on the mission sheet. Instead, a deck of “node” cards are drawn and placed on an 11 x 17 map sheet as mission progresses. To further customize the experience, the “node deck” can be split into specific encounter types such as zero – g, Hazardous terrain, science facility and so on.

Space Infantry: Resurgence also brings together every module, both by LnLP and by the game’s developer, including New Worlds, Hordes mode, Steele Bones, and The Last Outpost with new components, systems, and artwork.

    Un jeu solo avec beaucoup de bonnes idées. On constitue une escouade tactique, on l'équipe et on part en mission dans des bases spatiales ou sur des planètes lointaines.Chaque mission se présente sous forme d'une carte  avec des zones que vous devrez traverser pour progresser en réalisant des tests de compétences. Mais il faudra composer avec les nombreuses menaces extraterrestres hostiles. Les objectifs sont variés : faire exploser un dépôt  , s'infiltrer à bord d'un vaisseau, retrouver des scientifiques , combattre des boss géants ...
    Ce jeu prend tout son sel en mode campagne : plusieurs sont disponibles avec plusieurs compagnies de space infantry . Certaines campagnes apportent des mécaniques de jeu supplémentaires. L'univers graphique est proche d'un Mass Effect.
    Ce jeu a été fait pour le solo mais vous pouvez y jouer jusqu'à trois : 1 joueur extra terrestre et 2 joueurs space infantry.
    Je recommande ce superbe jeu à condition que vous soyez ni fâchés avec l'anglais ni avec les jets de dés
