The fleets of the northern clans share designs that have served them well for centuries. Their sleek ships often forgo heavy weapons in favor of maneuverability and boarding gear, striking quickly at the heart of the enemy fleet so that their valiant warriors can confront the enemy face to face.

For the Varangur, this means filling their decks with ruthless, bloodthirsty warriors. For the Northern Alliance, most of the fighting is done by the Icekin, valiant dwarves, imposing snow trolls and ogre mercenaries.
