Omega invites you to play as synthetic beings in a society made up entirely of other robots. You are part of one of five corporations, sprawling groups searching for resources to defend their position in the universe. But you are not just a robot limited to responding to electrical impulses varying between 0 and 1. You are an Omega, a powerful robot with extraordinary motor and cognitive abilities. 

Omega is a science fiction game offering many different types of scenarios: infiltration, conquest, combat, space exploration, humanisation, fighting rebellion, and more. Players take on the role of highly advanced machines capable of understanding and manipulating organic beings, whether human or alien: the Omegas. The character sheet is divided into a soft part representing the AI and a hard part representing the machine's form. Players can implant their AI into a Robot, Shape-Shifter, Drone, Cyborg or Droid chassis.

This ‘discovery kit’ includes a description of the universe, the game system, pre-generated characters, and invites you to dive into the world of Omega through three scenarios. 

Omega is powered by the Blattes system used in Insectopia (renamed Diodes). Some improvements have been made, and the system has been adapted to the specific characteristics of synthetics. 

A bag of 30 coloured tokens is used to resolve actions. This bag contains five coloured tokens corresponding to different levels of success: black for critical failure, white for failure, blue for success, green for improved success, and red for critical success. Actions are resolved by drawing a number of Diodes depending on the difficulty of the action.
This method allows for quick and active resolution of combat and actions.

Omega can also be played with 10-sided dice.
