WinZap is the brand new interactive dice game that resembles Yahtzee.

  • Like Yahtzee, players earn points with winning combinations: Full, Suites, Same Faces, etc.
  • But it's not just Yahtzee: players also earn points by winning duels against their opponents.
The duels are closely watched by the other players, who have bet on the final outcome.
At the end of the game, the points are converted into ‘Nuggets’.
Winzap is part of the current trend for aperitif and party games with simple rules and short games lasting from 30 minutes.

Aim of the game:

To be the first to win 50 nuggets - we talk about nuggets instead of points -
How are nuggets won?
  • By scoring maximum points in duels
  • By betting on the outcome of the duel

How does it work?

2 players, an attacker and a defender, face off in a duel.

The duel:

Attacker has 5 dice, defender 2.
The attacker has 3 throws to get the best score possible.
After each throw, the defender tries to eliminate some of the attacker's dice, at the risk of losing points himself.
After 3 throws, the attacker's points are counted and the bank pays him the equivalent in nuggets.
The defender then becomes the attacker and vice versa.
In a game with more than 2 players, the players who do not take part in the duel bet nuggets on the attacker's final result. If they win, the bank pays them the nuggets they have bet. If they don't, they return the bet to the bank.
Players are alternately duelists and bettors.
