Review : This game is a must for those of you who are interested in the original space race. Leaving Earth is a simulation of sorts and is not an exact historic replication. There is no Soviet or US side but the technology, the people and to some extent the missions, are historic. The game has a steep learning curve and assembling a rocket launcher can be quite the brain burner. If you are into the space race theme and enjoy medium to heavy calculating games then this is definitely a product for you.
Review : Very well written rule book with nicely streamlined mechanics. The game is pretty straightforward to comprehend. Looks highly replayable due to the various combinations created between the cards. Nice retake of the worker placement mechanism. Artwork is really first class! Component quality could have been better (thin cardboard box cover and thin playing cards) but for its price tag, I'm not complaining too much.
