Bastogne or Bust - Designers Edition

Bastogne or Bust is a regimental treatment of the Battle of the Bulge on a single map. It is a game deliberately designed to be more of a war game than a simulation. Wargamers affectionately call it BOB, but the designer prefers the nickname "The World's Finest Bulge Game". The Battle of the Bulge was a real showdown. It was as desperate as the cauldrons of Kursk or Stalingrad. Desperate to reach distant Antwerp, Bastogne was designated as the key to the entire southern shoulder. The 5th Panzer Army, under Manteuffel, had to get there quickly if it wanted to prevent Patton's 3rd Army from seizing the most important road junction and threatening the whole operation from the inside.

•         a new off-map movement chart with a new turn record track. One of the aspects being explored is to incorporate much of the off-map movement chart on the sides of the game board, much like the off-map displays used in Market-Garden games such as Hell's Highway.
