D6 System

D6 System

The D6 System is a rule system formalized by West End Games in 1996. The system had already been used by the publisher for the Star Wars adaptation. The idea was to provide a generic role-playing game, intended to replace the Masterbook system.

The D6 System was not very successful at the time of its release, but was relaunched in 2004, following the buyout of the publisher in 2003 by Purgatory Publishing.
