In Shallow Sea, players create their own living ocean landscapes by strategically placing a variety of marine animals, colorful fish, and coral.

What makes Shallow Sea truly unique is its innovative approach to a multi-level puzzle system. Unlike traditional puzzle games where pieces simply stack up, the elements in Shallow Sea can activate, deactivate, and even move, creating exciting combinations and dilemmas that will keep you thinking and on the edge of your seat.

Shallow Sea is full of strategic choices, as you try to achieve as many objectives as possible. This creates exciting combinations and difficult dilemmas that keep you on your toes. The game is easy to learn but difficult to master.

The goal of Shallow Sea is to have the most points at the end of the game. On your turn, you choose a combination of a fish and an adjacent tile. Place both on an empty space on your ocean board. When fish of the right color gather around a coral tile, the coral is completed and the tile is flipped over. Completed corals become a refuge for fish, so you must choose tactically which fish will inhabit the coral.

Use shells to attract fish and move them around, creating amazing combinations by completing multiple tiles in a single turn. Each tile representing marine life requires specific combinations of fish or coral. Choose a wide variety of creatures to enrich your ocean.

Customize your ocean to meet the unique scoring requirements of the Ecosystem cards. The game ends when there are only four free spaces left on your ocean board. At the end of the game, the player with the most points wins.

The Nesting Season expansion introduces exciting competitive interaction between players. By creating a thriving underwater ecosystem, players can help turtles brave the shores and lay their precious eggs. Guide your sea turtles to the ideal nesting sites! Enrich your gaming experience with a wide selection of new sea creatures, Ecosystem cards, and corals!
