Playball, an abstract two-player game

In Playball, your objective is simple: score three goals before your opponent does. To win, you’ll need to maneuver one of your ball-carrying Playballers into the opposing end zone. Every action matters, and each goal brings you one step closer to victory. But beware: after every goal… it’s back to center field.

The best defense is a good offense

Each turn, you can perform up to three moves, freely distributed among your Playballers. Move one space, jump over other players, and make precise passes to advance toward the end zone. Jumps and bounces let you cover multiple spaces at once if the conditions are right. With a bit of skill, you’ll soon find yourself in scoring position.

Easy to learn, hard to master

Playball can be explained in just a few minutes, thanks to its simple rules and fast-paced turns. However, behind this apparent simplicity lies deep tactical depth. Every move, pass, and jump must be carefully considered as you try to read your opponent’s play and anticipate their counterattacks. One wrong move could cost you the game.
