Islamic Horse Archers 

Horse archers were the backbone of Islamic armies throughout the medieval period and the dominant troop type during the Crusades. 

This plastic set depicts Seljuk and Turkoman horse archers, featuring a wide variety of head options that reflect the diverse warriors drawn from across the Islamic world. Turkoman tribes fought in vast numbers as auxiliaries within Seljuk and other Islamic forces, famed for their mastery of mounted archery and fluid battlefield tactics.
