Merchants compete over 3 days (rounds) to sell their wares to adventurers arriving at the town's docks, home to the most famous markets in the Five Kingdoms. Each player uses his own set of components (equipment and individual board) and role-specific game mechanics to produce his goods, increase the efficiency of his store, develop his team and, above all, become rich!
Although merchants work independently in their specialized stores, they compete with each other to attract customers, influence demand for goods and obtain sponsorship from the four faction halls.
To gain an edge, merchants can employ local townspeople to work in their stores as staff. And if they dare, they can take advantage of the corrupt den of thieves - but at what price? After three days of market sales, the richest merchant will be declared King of the Merchants!
