Prove your worth and become the king of pirates by taking on challenges that will test your luck!

Over the course of 7 rounds, you'll face off against other captains to build the best deck of cards while avoiding the fearsome curses that lurk in the seven seas.

Each player starts by choosing a captain and an initial deck, while the market and monster cards are placed in the center of the table. Each captain is unique, so choose wisely, as their abilities will help you on your journey.

During the game, players simultaneously reveal cards from their deck, one at a time, deciding each turn whether to continue taking risks or stop before luck turns against them. If a player reveals three curses (skulls), they explode and lose all the resources they have earned during that turn, falling to last place.

In Pirate King!, those who manage their luck well will accumulate valuable resources, such as gold and swords, which they can trade for powerful market cards or use to defeat terrifying monsters. These cards earn you victory points and special abilities that will help you stay ahead of your rivals. However, greed is always present and could leave you empty-handed if you don't play carefully.

After seven rounds, the player with the most victory points will be crowned the one and only pirate king.
