Trök: players find themselves in the world of Nidavellir, kingdom of the dwarves, to indulge in a thousand-year-old pastime practiced in every tavern: the subtle art of trading and combining equipment.
Each turn follows a rhythmic sequence: first, the supply phase, where each player receives their Equipment cards. Next comes the Trök, the heart of the game, where each player chooses three cards and reveals them: the player with the highest value becomes the master of trade and initiates the exchanges. In turn, players collect or exchange a card in front of an opponent or with the market, triggering a fast-paced and tense chain of actions.
The combination phase allows you to transform your cards into concrete results: identical sets earn you Aare, the game's currency, while different sets unlock strategic improvements. These upgrades offer valuable bonuses, such as increasing your hand size or boosting your end-of-round earnings.
There are two ways to win: by accumulating 50 Aare or by achieving the perfect combination, i.e., all different equipment items accompanied by an Arcane Stone. Each game is a series of quick decisions where observation, anticipation, and a touch of daring make all the difference.
