Develop your civilization to rule the Mesopotamian region.

Mesopotamia, circa 1500 BC: the Mesopotamian region, located between the Euphrates and Tigris rivers, is a veritable melting pot of different cultures.

Inventions such as writing and the wheel led to the construction of the first large cities and flourishing trade. In the mountains, the coveted lapis lazuli is mined and papyrus is made from reeds.

On your turn, you move your wanderer or your boat. On the target space, you choose two of the three possible actions, which may consist of taking a new tile for your exhibition or a multiplier for the subsequent scoring, building a city, a temple, or a mine, or producing lapis lazuli or papyrus, which you need to build, perform special actions, or earn extra points.

Papyria ends as soon as the last good has been taken from several spaces and a certain number of “end of game” tiles have been revealed and filled. After several final scores, the player with the most points wins.
