This adventure takes place in the world of the role-playing game Antheas, the Archipelago of the Peaks.

The world has disappeared under a deadly mist. Humanity has taken refuge on the mountain tops and must defend itself against the attacks of the Stryyxs, terrifying insectoid creatures inhabiting the ocean of steam. But mankind has not said its last word, bolstered by advances in science and technology. Medhone-fueled ships provide links between fortified cities, and missions to unlock the secret of the mist are multiplying.

It's in this world that you'll come out of your peaceful retirement to set off on another adventure, accompanying an expedition to the wine-growing city of Vertmont, your hometown. Sent to investigate the ruins of an ancient civilization, the previous expedition has still not returned. With the aim of rescuing them and continuing their exploration, you'll be investigating the city for clues, exploring the depths of the earth and defending your life and the lives of your comrades.
