Arkham Noir: Case 1 - The Witch Cult Murders

Walpurgis Night is a nightmare in Arkham, a town haunted by witches. There are regular sinister incidents and it is not uncommon for a child or two to go missing. This year, Miskatonic University students engaged in occult studies were found dead. The Arkham police, because of your unusual expertise, have requested your assistance in this case. Time is of the essence because after Walpurgis Night, the trail will go cold and the culprits will retreat into the shadows until the next Witches' Sabbath, when the next deadly cycle begins.

As a private investigator, you will investigate events based on the stories "The Dreams in the Witch House" (1933), "The Thing on the Doorstep" (1933) and "The Unnamable" (1923).

The game consists of adding cards to ongoing investigations, creating lines of inquiry to try to solve them. The ultimate goal is to score five "puzzle" clue cards in order to piece together the big picture before running out of time or going crazy. Each new game is the beginning of a unique challenge, with adjustable levels of difficulty.
