The House of the Chimera is ready to emerge from the mists of the north and unleash its fury on the lands of Candelabria! Thanks to its close connection with nature and the unknown, the House possesses powerful mystical powers and the ability to travel along roads and paths unknown to most people.
This House has its own starting region, which is added to the main board as an expansion tile to the original game board. This also increases the number of player levels to 6. Explorations: Inside the box, you will find 18 exploration tokens, each representing one or more different icons.
They represent the mysteries and discoveries that Houses make while wandering through Candelabria, when they decide not to plunder the territory but to see what lies ahead. During setup, these tokens must be placed face down, at random, on each territory belonging to a region that is not identified as the starting region of a House (whether or not it is present in the game).
When a model (candle or castle) of a House enters a territory containing a token, it may, INSTEAD of deploying a land flame and then performing the action associated with the territory, take the exploration token and place it face down next to its House board. It can then reveal one of its Exploration tokens as part of any action it performs to gain the benefits indicated on it, or keep it hidden to gain 1 VP at the end of each year for each face-down token in its possession.
