A single card but 12 levels represented, evolving opponents and dilemmas in the choice of dice to allocate in each round.
One Card Dungeon is a single player dice placement dungeon crawler played on a single map.
Fight your way through 12 increasingly difficult levels to reach the final prize - the Sceptre of M'Guf-yn. Both the adventurer and the monsters are represented on the map by dice, with the value at the top indicating their current health status. Each room has a type of monster, with 1 to 4 of that monster to defeat in each room. The basic game mechanic is to roll three dice, then assign one die to each of your moves, attacks and defenses.
Adding up your skill levels in each of these areas with the dice you assigned gives you a total number of points in each of these areas to spend, for example if you have a movement skill of 3 and you assign a die of 4, you would have 7 movement points to spend this turn.
After each room, you can upgrade one of your four skills: Movement, Attack, Defense and Range.
