A strategy board game for one to six players, in which players can attempt to strengthen the power of the Chancellor or lead the kingdom to its demise.

The consequences of one game will affect the next, changing the resources and actions available to future players and even altering the game's primary victory condition.

If one player takes control by promoting anarchy and treachery, the other players will face a country overrun by thieves and petty warlords. In a later game, a warlord might attempt to found a dynasty, creating a line of rulers that could last for generations or be crushed by the rise of a terrible arcane cult.
