7th Sea: City of Five Sails - Base Set

Players control one of five factions battling to influence, control and explore the independent, unruly city of Five Sails. The game is generally played by two players, but multiplayer variants allow more players to enter the game.

Over the course of the game, each player represents a leader who, along with his allies, explores locations and fights with both swords and his wits to exert a global influence over the town. In addition to each player's individual deck, 7th Sea: City of Five Sails - Base Set also includes a random element in the form of a separate, shared deck that represents the city itself with unusual characters, objects and events that change the course of the game. Battles are resolved in a unique "back-and-forth" style reminiscent of swordplay.

Your characters will realize grand designs in lightning-fast duels. The winner of each duel will be determined by the Riposte, Parade, Poussée combat system. You and your opponent will swiftly exchange damage tokens with all the panache and drama of a classic cloak-and-dagger film. Show your courage, wit and cunning, and your characters just might come out unscathed.
