Professor SKAROV puts his Machiavellian plans into action. Fortunately, the members of the Liberty Patrol are on hand. Four of them, protectors of the innocent and ardent defenders of Liberty, will try to thwart the evil plans of this odious character. In Guardians' Chronicles, one player is chosen to take on the role of Professor SKAROV and help him realize his evil plans. The other players take on the role of members of the Liberty Patrol, joining forces to combat the megalomania and destructiveness of this perverse scientist. 

The heroes will have to contend with a reputedly impregnable base built using 9 double-sided tiles, and multiple devious traps placed in their path. The Professor will command an army of robots and mercenary-ninjas capable of standing up to the concerted strategy and mighty powers of the heroes determined to crush his desire for conquest. The supergroup will need to be ingenious and work together cunningly to pulverize the various obstacles in their path.
