In Chroma Arcana: Tyrant Hunt, each mage has access to a unique combination of spells based on their chosen magic colors, allowing for a wide variety of gameplay options and strategies.
The goal of the game is to reduce the tyrants' health to zero before they escape! On your turn, you can place spell cards in your grimoire. Then, you can discard cards of the same color to charge those spells. Once a spell is charged, it must be cast.
Spells can be instant-effect bursts, minions that offer an advantage for a few turns, powerful edicts that apply a temporary effect, or trap-like protections that remain in place until their trigger condition is met.
By the end of setup, you will have selected an ego (your character's identity), a primary color (as well as a well-honed formula), and a secondary color. You should have everything you need to jump into battle!
