In Dschunke (Junk), you'll trade on the water.
Dschunke lets you try to make a living trading in a floating market.
Let's get those crates out!
The game board represents the junks of the floating market and the goods for sale (fish, rice, saffron, vegetables).
The game is divided into several phases, each played by a different player.
The goal, of course, is to be the richest player at the end of the game, but bonuses are awarded in addition to the money you've earned, so keep your eyes peeled!
My fish is fresh!
The market begins with the valuation of goods. These can earn you between 1 and 4 local currency or allow you to draw an action card.
Players, in turn order, will be able to perform actions, but not just any actions!
Three merchants roam the junks. One will allow you to collect money, another to place crates, and the third to draw goods cards. Depending on the merchant's location and the number of your company's crates visible on the junk, the action will be advantageous or not… Unless, of course, someone cleverly uses the merchant you wanted before you…
Fortunately, in addition to the three merchants, there are two other possible actions you can use each turn.
My saffron is orange!
So what's the point of all this? Placing crates improves the merchants' actions when they arrive on a junk. It also grants bonuses at the end of the game if you have crates on all the junks.
Drawing goods allows you to resell them at the end of each market, provided you're the one who secretly bids the most... It's important, it brings in money and helps you win. Drawing action cards is important too! They allow you to do all sorts of things, like secret end-game bonuses if you meet the conditions, drawing more goods, or moving crates.
My rice is white!
The game is played in limited rounds. So you'll have to be everywhere at once, keeping an eye on who's drawing what and guessing their purpose to be the richest at the end of the game. My vegetables look great!
Yes, and do you have noodles too?
Second-hand game in German. Rules printed in French, no text on the game components.
