Be the power behind the throne and ensure your pawn ascends to the throne in Enthrone!

You are the silent hand. One of the 8 unsuspecting pawns will be the key to your rise to supreme power. But your rival is hiding their own schemes to challenge you. Will you be able to deduce their identity and eliminate them? Eliminate three key political targets? Or simply sneak through undetected and seize the throne?

Enthrone is an abstract deduction game for two players. The cut-out board, roughly octagonal in shape, is surrounded by eight beautifully sculpted figurines, busts representing the potential heirs to the throne: the reigning king, the priestess, the knight, the jester, the demon, the assassin, the archer, and the wizard.

Each player receives three identity cards, each representing one of the above pieces. You choose the one you intend to enthrone. You also know the two other identities you did not choose, which are not those of your opponent. They have the same information, and two identities remain forever unknown to all players.

You win if you manage to advance your token to the throne square in the center of the board. You can also win by deducing who your opponent is, then capturing and eliminating their token. You can also ensure that the three target identities listed at the bottom of your card are eliminated from the game (either by yourself or your opponent).

But the magic of the game lies in the pieces that can be activated each turn and their abilities, depending on their position on the tile track. The hexagonal tiles in the three lower positions are locked and cannot be moved. The top five tiles can be moved by placing the tile at the bottom of the hexagonal tiles and pushing all the tiles above it up one notch. Only the tiles in the top two spaces can capture and eliminate a piece.

The tiles in the top three positions are the only ones that can be moved to the throne space (provided it is your piece). It is essential to manipulate and strategize to move and position these tiles according to your objectives. The suspense lies in keeping your identity secret while revealing that of your opponents.

A unique abstract strategy game that looks absolutely beautiful on the table. A game fit for kings, or those who crown them.
