The Cousins War

The Cousins' War is a game that recreates the War of the Two Roses in 30 minutes.

The Cousins' War is played over a maximum of five rounds, each representing between five and ten years of conflict. On each turn, players decide where the actual battlefield will be, playing action cards to deploy troops on the battlefield, while increasing or decreasing their influence in the regions, after which they fight. Players resolve the battle with a system of bluff and counter-bluff, using three dice, until only one side has troops on the field. Winning the battle helps consolidate your house's influence on the board.

You win the Cousins' War either by dominating all regions of England, or by controlling the greatest number of regions at the end of the fifth round.
