Make your way through the darkness but don't let your candle go out!
You wake up in the dark, your skin cold, your mind empty. You have nothing but your fear, a flickering candle, and one question: how long will your light last?
Trapped and crawling through a pitch-black maze, equipped only with dim candles, you must work together to explore the maze and escape.
Unfortunately, the dim light from your candles only illuminates your immediate surroundings. Even worse, horrible wax-eaters - monsters that despise light - lurk in the suffocating darkness for the opportunity to strike.
To win, players must each retrieve a key, find a door and escape as a group.
In Dark Trap, escape will not be easy because each player's visibility is limited by the dim light of their candle. They only illuminate tiles directly connected to theirs, and as players move, tiles that fall into darkness are removed from play. Retracing your steps only opens up new paths, the old ones being lost forever, with essential keys and doors disappearing if your light moves away from them...
