The life of an emperor is stressful and full of difficult decisions.

He absolutely needs a place of comfort where he can relax and get back on his feet. A beautiful garden full of paths, statues and flowers is exactly what he needs.
A round of play in Zen Garden is simple: The first player selects a tile from the selection table, pays the cost, and then adds it to his garden adjacent to a tile that has already been laid. Each player does this, then the board is filled and a new player begins the next round.
Zen Garden comes with five preference boards that determine which features of the garden count in the game. The selected boards (and the number of them) will greatly alter the goals that players will strive to achieve in this game. Each turn, you build a part of this garden by choosing a tile from the 90 available garden tiles. To create a beautiful and varied garden, you can choose between three different paths and six different types of soil, such as stone, sand or water.
Decorations such as benches or statues will also help you to embellish your garden. But only the player who best meets the emperor's expectations will be able to get the emperor's gratitude. Zen Garden is a game with a high replayability because the elements required by the emperor change with each game, both in number and type of elements required.
