In City of Iron, 2 to 4 players compete as leaders of small nations in a world full of machines, magic, and money. Players aim to grow their economy by producing rare goods (like machine parts and bottled demons), researching steam‑age technology, recruiting mercenaries, and building cities. To reach distant territories — floating islands or remote archipelagos — players can also build schooners or airships.
The game uses a deck‑building mechanic: players buy cards for Buildings, Citizens, or Military units from a shared market, integrating them into their city decks to generate income and actions. There’s also capacity management: because city space is limited, you must decide which buildings to keep and which to demolish in pursuit of greater efficiency.
The winning strategy lies in building the most efficient engine — combining card play, infrastructure, and trade to control rare resources. Success means mastering production, logistics, and the delicate balance between growth and sustainability.
Second‑hand game in very good condition, English version. Box well preserved, cards and components in great shape, complete set.
