The prize is the cellar, worth 100,000 euros, of the Comte de Saint-Germain, an 18th-century adventurer, alchemist, polyglot, spy and immortal figure. The Cave du Comte de Saint-Germain is representative of French vineyards. It includes bottles from all the major wine-producing regions, the main grape varieties and appellations, with exceptional vintages such as Château Margaux 1er grand cru classé, and Domus Maximus millésime 2000, voted best wine in the world in 2005.
