Take flight like a fearless pilot in this hot-air balloon race!

Those who fly high are exposed to strong winds and risk getting lost in the storms raging at high altitudes. Those who fly low, on the other hand, score few points and won’t lead you to victory. If you manage to find the perfect balance, you might just win the race.

During the game, on their turn, players draw a card and play one. You can place this card either in front of yourself or in front of an opponent. This way, you can help your own team rise, or sabotage an opponent. Cards with positive values make your balloons rise, while those with negative values make them fall.

If a player draws a “storm” card, the storm begins. During a storm, all players must play cards from their hand to benefit their own team. The number of cards to play depends on the number of “storm” cards that have appeared in the game.

Each “storm” card means you must play more cards from your hand, which reduces your hand size and limits your options. When the fourth “storm” card is drawn, players place all remaining cards from their hand into their team, and the game ends.

At the end of the game, players add up the points for each type of hot air balloon on their team (there are four in total). For each type of hot air balloon, the one with the highest value is carried away by the wind and flies off into the storm. Hot air balloons that fly away into the storm do not count toward the final score and are removed from play. After removing the hot air balloon with the highest value of each type from the table, players add up the points of their remaining team members. The player with the most points wins the game!
