Roch Urbaniak is a Kraków-based painter, author of children's books, and comic book artist. In his art, he draws inspiration from myths and fairy tales, as well as pop culture—especially video games. He believes that inspiration and wonderful stories can be found everywhere, and it is precisely these stories that he aims to convey through his art. He also applies his painting to other forms of expression, creating comics and using his paintings as illustrations for his "Papiernik" book series.
