With his totem animal, the otter, Rudy Delaplace turned his creativity to the world of board games at the end of 2019. He created the first prototype of a game that would later be named Otterwood. He continued to develop it, improving it as he tested it. The time came to ask what to do with the newly created game. For Rudy, it was obvious that he liked to see his creations through to the end, so he had to publish it himself. This led to the creation in 2023 of Lutra Games with its emblem, the otter. What better way to represent board games than with a playful, social animal?
