Alea is a brand of the Ravensburger group which publishes German board games.
Alea offers five collections. The big games were inaugurated by Ra. The small boxes started with Wyatt Earp and were stopped after number 5. In 2004, Alea started a new collection of medium boxes with volume 1 being Louis XIV. In 2016, Alea starts a fourth collection of boxes which replaces the small series. It consists of very small boxes with for the moment card and dice games. Finally, in 2018, Alea launches a fifth collection of very large boxes with The Rise of Queensdale, a Legacy game.
