Shard of Corruption Item Card Deck: dark relics and cursed gear for 5E
Crafted by indie tabletop publisher Eventyr Games to accompany the Shards of Corruption adventure anthology, this 45-card tarot-sized deck equips game masters and players with a collection of dark, corrupted magic items. Designed for 5E compatibility, this deck turns loot distribution and dungeon rewards into a tangible, memorable moment at the table. Rather than copying stat blocks onto character sheets, players hold evocative full-color cards with comprehensive mechanics right at their fingertips. The deck features:
- A set of 45 oversized tarot-style cards showcasing dark fantasy artwork on the front.
- A clear color-coded edge system allowing quick sorting across all five standard 5E rarity tiers from common to legendary.
- Native inclusion of signature items from the anthology, including the sentient titular Shard of Corruption with its instant attunement trait.
Shard of Corruption Item Card Deck: table ergonomics and streamlined play
Physical magic item cards dramatically improve pacing during roleplaying sessions:
- Immediate mechanics reference: The reverse side displays full item stats, attunement requirements, charges, and activation costs formatted to 5E standards.
- Direct physical handouts: Hand players unique relics such as the Shield of Fiery Rage, the Vial of Spiders, or the Weeping Widow toxin to heighten table immersion.
- Cursed item management: Visually reinforce the risks and moral dilemmas of using dark, corrupted artifacts that offer immense power at a dangerous cost.
Shard of Corruption Item Card Deck: a versatile tool for grimdark campaigns
