The Hidden Ark initiative was created to make a difference. It's an alliance of scientific groups from around the world working to make a difference and save species from total extinction.
The obstacles are many, and funding is hard to come by. Research and expertise in different fields will be needed, as well as a global infrastructure and coordinated rescue operations across the vast oceans. Are you up to the challenge?
You'll be building scientific stations, sending out your ships for rescue operations and developing your expertise in different fields.
In the game, players draw opportunity tokens that provide them with various research projects, funds and technological upgrades. They then choose an action line on their game board and perform all the available actions.
To carry out a salvage operation, a player must move his salvage ship to a species card on the game board and meet the card's search requirements. If successful, the player has saved the species and retains the card for points and benefits.
To carry out a rescue operation, a player must move his rescue ship to a species card on the game board and meet the card's search requirements. If successful, the player has saved the species and retains the card for points and benefits.
Throughout the game, you'll increase your research capabilities, expand your armada of rescue ships and scientific stations, and upgrade your player board with new abilities to make your action rows even more powerful.
The game ends when there are no more opportunity tokens to draw, and the player with the most victory points from cards, upgrades, rewards, scientific stations and rescue ships wins the game!
