German 88mm Gun and Sd.Kfz.7 (12mm)

Description

The 88mm gun was a powerful piece of ordnance used in an antiaircraft and antitank role by the Germans from 1939 to 1945. Used in all theatres of war from Russia to the desert was feared by the allied armies due its devastating ability to knock out allied armour and bombers at long range. 

The 88mm gun was a heavy piece of equipment and so needed a heavy-duty vehicle to move it. The Sd.Kfz.7 developed in 1934 was built in great numbers through to 1945, It could carry a crew of 11 plus the driver. 

This set contains:
  • 3 x 88mm guns
  • 3 x Sd.Kfz.7 halftracks
  • 31 x Seated crew in European uniform
  • 31 x Seated crew in Afrika Corps uniform
  • 24 x Gun crew in European uniform
  • 24 x Gun crew in Afrika Corps uniform
  • Sand bag emplacements
  • Ammo crates
  • Shell casings 

You have the options to build the gun on its 4 wheeled carriage or ground mounted on its cruciform. 
The Sd.Kfz.7 has an optional canvas top cover and various pieces of stowage to make every model an individual.
