Description

The SD.KFZ. 2, better known by his abbreviated name of Kettenkrad, is a caterpillars used during the Second World War. This autoossee vehicle could only transport two men, but was able to cross all types of land. Designed at the start to be a small tractor for airborne troops, it was small enough to hold a transport aircraft in the hold. It was used as troop transport, but also for other missions, such as the unrolling of telephone cables or for the towing of light artillery parts.
